Bluebeard's Castle
Bluebeard’s Castle is a psychological thriller about the question of how much truth love can tolerate. The opera tells the story of Judith, who marries the mysterious Bluebeard. In her desire to get to know him, she cannot contain her curiosity. This dark and intriguing story is enhanced by the music of Béla Bartók, one of the most influential composers of the 20th century. He combines elements of folk music with an enchantingly rich and harmonic language. The orchestra has to go all out.
