In this vibrant new musical for the whole family, Dawn Collective, de Toneelmakerij, and Theater De Krakeling bring to life the beloved princess from Mylo Freeman’s books — in a story bursting with color, joy, and music.
When her parents leave on a state visit, Arabella suddenly finds herself getting royal lessons. Her grandmother Omi is determined to teach her what it truly means to be a queen — including how to sing the official national anthem. But Arabella has other ideas: she wants to have fun, sing with her friends, and maybe even invent a brand-new anthem of her own!
Together with her friends — princesses from all around the world — Arabella sets out to turn the old song into something fresh and full of life. But that’s not as easy as it sounds. As Arabella follows her dream with fiery determination, she clashes with Omi, who, as a queen, believes in holding on to tradition. Yet sometimes, change begins with a child who has a big idea — and an even bigger heart.
A heartwarming, inspiring show that will move you, lift you up, and get you dancing!
